Martin has been part of the SDN board since 2021 and is responsible for the SDN project office (events, SDN Magazine, and SDN office matters). Martin is also co-founder of the company Reshift Digital in Haarlem and serves as a board member of the Devoxx4kids foundation and the NLJUG.
